The Kerala High Court said on Tuesday that it would not stop the screening of the movie “L2: Empuraan,” even though former BJP member Vijeesh Vettam asked them to. Vettam, who used to be a member of the BJP in Thrissur, has been suspended from the party for his actions. He went to court because he believes the film promotes hate against different religions and is not good for the nation.
The court’s decision means that the film will continue to be shown. Vettam said that, despite being suspended, he plans to continue with his legal fight against the movie. He feels that it has a harmful agenda and aims to make money by dividing people.
Justin Jacob, the president of the BJP Thrissur district, said Vettam’s complaint led to his suspension. He emphasized that the party will take strict action against anyone who goes against its principles and will look into the situation further.
