A two-Michelin-star restaurant called Alchemist in Copenhagen offers a truly special dining experience. One food influencer recently spent about $700 (₹59,000) for a 5-hour meal filled with surprises.

The restaurant encourages guests to “expect the unexpected,” and they definitely deliver. Some of the unusual dishes included a smashed chicken head, a lobster claw, and even edible plastic! The restaurant also had an eerie atmosphere, with its ceiling featuring moving eyeballs that seemed to watch diners as they ate.

Tiffany, the influencer, shared her thoughts in a video, showing the attention-grabbing dining area and the crazy food creations. Their 50-course meal featured things like raw jellyfish, edible butterflies, and lamb brain mousse served in a bowl that looked like a cut-open human head!

Some dishes even highlighted important issues. For example, chicken feet were served in a cage to show how animals can be treated poorly, and fish came wrapped in edible plastic to raise awareness about ocean pollution. One dessert was made from frozen pig’s and lamb’s blood shaped like a drop of blood, complete with a QR code that linked to information on blood donations worldwide.

While the restaurant aims to be unique and thought-provoking, many viewers reacted negatively to the bizarre food choices. One person said, “People will eat anything if you convince them it’s trendy.” Another summed up the irony clearly: “You’re highlighting cruel animal conditions while eating the animals they killed for this exhibit. Are you okay?”
