The “Seva, Sushasan, Vikash” program wrapped up recently after celebrating three years of the Uttarakhand government. This program organized helpful camps to connect citizens with their government and provide them access to various schemes right in their communities.
From March 22 to March 30, people attended these camps at district and local levels throughout the state. Thousands of residents showed up to learn about and receive benefits from government services in health, education, self-employment, and social security.
The government shared that many people took advantage of free health checkups, received medication and vaccinations under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Students were given scholarships, textbooks, and tools for digital learning, helping thousands of young learners.
To support self-employment, financial help and guidance were offered to young people and women’s self-help groups through programs like the Chief Minister’s Self-Employment Scheme and the Mudra Scheme. Farmers learned about agricultural grants and new techniques to boost their crop yields.
Special pension camps were set up for senior citizens, widows, and people with disabilities (Divyangjans). These camps provided immediate assistance to many who needed help. The program ensured no one who required support was left out.
