Members of the famous K-pop girl group Blackpink are facing criticism for using a very offensive word in old videos before they became popular. A person on Discord, who claims to be a former employee of their company YG Entertainment, leaked these videos online.

In the videos, members Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa are heard saying the “N-word” several times. Fans quickly reacted with anger, with one fan saying it’s surprising because they should know better, especially since two of them grew up in English-speaking countries. Another fan pointed out that Jisoo, another member of the group, sang a Nicki Minaj song without making the same mistake, even though she’s Korean.

The person who leaked the videos, known as “YG Leaker,” claims to have many secrets about YG Entertainment and other K-pop companies. They said they leaked the videos because they were fired and don’t like how the company operates, mentioning issues like racism and sexism.

The controversy has led to a heated discussion online. While some fans believe the company should be blamed, others think that Jennie and Rosé should take responsibility since they already understand global culture.
