On March 29, Mikey Madison hosted Saturday Night Live (SNL) for the first time, with Morgan Wallen as the musical guest. This appearance came just weeks after she won an Oscar for Best Actress for her role in the movie “Anora.”
In her funny opening speech, Mikey joked about her dancing skills in the film. She said, “I did my own stunts, including the dancing. It bothers me when people think it wasn’t really me on the pole, because it was, and I can show you!”
During the show, Mikey walked over to a nearby pole while someone dressed like her did an impressive dance routine with a handstand. When it was over, Mikey popped back on screen, flipped her hair, and winked at the camera.
Mikey also acted in other funny sketches during the show. She played a person on jury duty and a doctor trying to help during a tough delivery. In another sketch, she was a student in an acting class with a very dramatic teacher.
Meanwhile, Morgan Wallen sang two new songs from his upcoming album, “I’m The Problem.” This was his first time back on SNL since December 2020.
