A blast occurred early Sunday morning at a mosque in Ardha Masla village, located in Maharashtra’s Beed district. Luckily, no one was hurt. The explosion happened around 2:30 am and damaged the inside of the mosque.
Police say a man entered the mosque from the back and left behind gelatin sticks, which likely caused the explosion. Two people have been arrested in connection to this incident.
Due to the blast, tensions rose in the village, prompting the police to send more officers to maintain peace. The village head informed the Talawada police around 4 am, raising an alarm about the explosion.
Beed Superintendent of Police, Navneet Kanwat, along with other officials, arrived at the mosque quickly. A Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad and a forensics team were also sent to investigate.
Kanwat stated that a case has been filed against the accused, and strict action will be taken. He urged everyone to avoid spreading rumors and cooperate with the police to keep the village safe.
