On Thursday, March 29, 2025, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) released the results for the 10th-grade exams. You can find the results on their websites: matricresult2025.com and matricbiharboard.com. This year, 82.11% of students passed, which is a bit lower than last year’s 82.91%.
In total, 752,685 boys and 805,392 girls took the exams. Sadly, 123,065 boys and 155,718 girls did not pass.
Good news for students who are not happy with their scores! The board is allowing students to apply for a re-check (called “scrutiny”) and also for special and compartment exams. If you want to apply for re-checking, you can do so from April 4 to April 12, 2025. More details will be provided later.
These exams will help students who failed, so they don’t have to wait a whole year to continue their education. The results of these extra exams are expected to be out by May 31, 2025.
The Bihar Board exams were held from February 17 to February 25, 2025, in two shifts: from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm. Keep an eye on the official website for more information!
