Join Madhuri Dixit and Dr. Sriram Nene as they discuss family, privilege, and life experiences with their sons on a recent podcast episode.

Madhuri Dixit, the famous actress, recently joined her husband, Dr. Sriram Nene, and their two sons, Arin and Ryan, on his podcast. They talked about being parents and what it’s like growing up in a celebrity family. During the chat, Ryan openly said that having privileges as a kid from a famous family is “an understatement.”

Madhuri and Sriram shared that their family has experienced living on three continents, discussing the challenges they faced while adapting to new places. Sriram mentioned how their kids enjoy some luxuries that he and his parents didn’t have when they were young. Ryan added that saying they have “some” privileges is really an understatement.

Sriram encouraged his sons to appreciate their situation but also reminded them to think of what they can give back to others. He said, “You can’t control where you are born, but you can choose how to act.”

The family also talked about their experiences living in India versus living abroad. Sriram asked his parents if they preferred the US over India. His mother replied that she loves it here but misses her homeland. She noted that India has changed a lot since they moved away in the 1970s.

Sriram believes that India has grown and improved, offering more opportunities and hope. He also told his sons that their upbringing had been as normal as possible, even though they are from a famous family. Ryan expressed that he knows their life is easier than most people’s but hopes others see him as a grounded person.

Madhuri got married to Sriram in 1999. They lived in the US for over ten years and welcomed their sons, Arin in 2003 and Ryan in 2005. Madhuri returned to acting in 2007 and was last seen in the film “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3”, which did well at the box office.
