One of India’s best business schools, XLRI, has just wrapped up its final recruitment for students graduating in 2023-25 from its PGDM (BM) and PGDM (HRM) programs. A total of 591 students took part, and 172 companies offered more than 600 jobs in India and 2 abroad. Impressively, 34.17% of students got job offers before graduation.
“We are excited to see our students doing so well and getting great job offers from top companies in different industries. This shows how hard our teachers work to prepare students for successful futures,” said XLRI Director Fr. S. George, congratulating the students.
Many well-known companies joined the recruitment drive. The consulting field was very popular, with firms like BCG, Bain & Company, McKinsey, and Accenture Strategy hiring students. The BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector had big names like Goldman Sachs, Citi, Barclays, and Kotak Mahindra Bank looking for new talent in investment banking and finance.
Companies like Hindustan Unilever, ITC, P&G, and Tata Steel continued their strong connection with XLRI, while Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, and Meesho actively hired from the tech and e-commerce areas.
The average salary for these graduating students was INR 31.08 lakhs per year, while the median salary was INR 29 lakhs. The top 10th percentile of salaries reached INR 52.03 lakhs, and the 25th percentile averaged INR 44.35 lakhs. The best international offer was an incredible INR 1.10 crores, and the top domestic offer was INR 75 lakhs per year.
