Alan Ritchson, the star of the hit show “Reacher” on Amazon Prime Video, had a scary experience while filming the final episode of Season 3. He got knocked out during a fight scene! This show is based on the popular Jack Reacher books written by Lee Child.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Alan shared about the accident. He said, “I got picked up and slammed through a table so hard, I felt like I flew into another world. I didn’t wake up until a day and a half later!” When he came to, he had to pretend to feel good in front of his kids who were on set, not wanting them to worry.
Alan’s team warned him not to do the stunt because it could be dangerous. But he wanted to prove he could handle it. “I thought it would be fun,” he explained. “I just wanted viewers to see that I was really doing this for them.”
Another actor on the show, Olivier Richters, also talked about how tough the training was for Season 3. He had to eat a lot, with seven meals each day! He said, “I would wake up and have a big breakfast, then train for two hours. After resting, I’d train again. This was my life for three to four months!”
“Reacher” Season 3 also features Maria Sten, Sonya Cassidy, Johnny Berchtold, Roberto Montesinos, Brian Tee, and Anthony Michael Hall. It’s based on the seventh book, “Persuader,” in Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series.
