A video posted by an Indian-born content creator named Aryan Mangal has gone viral. He shared his frustrating experience with the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK after he hurt his hand badly. Aryan said that while he was in the UK, a piece of glass cut his hand, causing a big wound that also hurt a nerve and almost completely tore a tendon in his finger.

He rushed to a nearby pharmacy, where the staff wrapped his wound and gave him energy tablets to help him not faint. After that, he had to wait three whole hours to see a doctor at a hospital. The doctor told him to visit a hand surgeon the next day. When he met the surgeon, they numbed his hand with injections and asked him to come back for surgery in three days.

However, as he was leaving, his wound started bleeding again. The doctor tightened the bandage and gave him extra dressings to prevent more bleeding. Later, Aryan felt sick and had a fever because his wound got infected. He took medication until the following Tuesday. That evening, he received a call from the NHS saying his surgery would be delayed by 4-5 days, which frustrated him.

Feeling upset with the long wait, Aryan decided to travel to India for his surgery. He mentioned that although the doctors in the NHS were nice and professional, the delays were incredibly painful.

Social media responded with mixed feelings. One person, who is an NHS dentist, admitted that the NHS is slow and said they would prefer to go to India if needed. Another commenter pointed out that comparing the NHS to private hospitals in India isn’t fair because private hospitals offer faster care for a fee. They suggested comparing it to Indian government hospitals instead. Others mentioned that while Indian doctors do well, they don’t get enough respect, and some thought that it wasn’t fair to compare free services in the UK to the paid services in India.

A report from the Guardian said that many people in England have had bad experiences with the NHS, and many are not happy with the care they receive. The NHS has been facing issues for a long time, and it seems that public confidence in the system is still low today.
