In a shocking case, police have revealed new details about the murder of Saurabh Rajput in Meerut. The main suspect, Muskan Rastogi, allegedly bought two knives for ₹800 and practiced stabbing to prepare for the crime. Unsure of her ability, she also got a razor, which was later used to chop off Saurabh’s head.
On the night of March 4, Muskan reportedly drugged Saurabh with sleeping pills. She then stabbed him three times and used the razor to cut his throat. With the help of her lover, Sahil Shukla, they dismembered Saurabh’s body into 15 pieces, placed the remains in a drum, and sealed it with cement.
Saurabh’s body was discovered in the drum, and an autopsy revealed he had been killed with great violence. His head was separated from his body, arms were cut off, and the angles of his legs suggested they were trying to fit him into the drum. The cause of death was massive bleeding and shock.
After the murder, Muskan and Sahil traveled to Kasol, Himachal Pradesh, pretending to be a married couple. They were arrested on March 18 and are currently in jail, struggling with their conditions and refusing to eat properly. Saurabh and Muskan had married in 2016 against family wishes, and they have a six-year-old daughter.
