Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced that the recruitment of 16,347 teachers will start in the first week of April. During a meeting with district collectors at the secretariat, he mentioned that the goal is to have the hiring process completed by the time schools open for the next academic year in June.

Naidu said, “In the first week of April, we will issue a notification for the teacher recruitment. This should be done quickly and include training so that teachers are ready when schools start.”

He also hinted that this recruitment could include categories for Scheduled Castes (SCs) to ensure fair opportunities. The state has sent a report on SC categorization to the central government and is waiting for their response. Naidu promised that they will proceed as planned ahead of the 2024 elections.

He urged district collectors to run the DSC exam smoothly and emphasized that they should always focus on welfare, development, and good governance. Naidu believes that helping people and creating good programs is essential for reducing poverty and making everyone happy, especially when people have high hopes for the future.
