Lily Stewart, a student at the University of Georgia, became famous after her smiling mugshot went viral. She was first arrested for speeding a little over two weeks ago, and many people admired her looks in that photo. However, she has now been arrested again, which could cause more serious problems for her.

On March 23, Lily was detained for blocking a police officer and hanging around in a suspicious way. She was taken in at 5:26 am, according to records from Athens-Clarke County. The 20-year-old had to pay a $4,000 bond to get out of jail before 11 am that same day.

In her first arrest on March 8, Lily was speeding on her way to a party in Milledgeville, Georgia. Her mugshot showed her smiling with perfect hair, makeup, and pearl earrings, and it quickly became famous, being seen by millions. She explained to the New York Post that she was speeding again right after getting a ticket, driving at 75 mph in a 55 mph zone.

“It was the second time speeding that got me arrested,” she said. “The cop put me in handcuffs and took me to his car.”

Lily thinks the situation is funny and doesn’t see what all the fuss is about. She believes her mugshot isn’t the best picture of her. “I don’t look the same as I do in that mug shot,” she stated.

During her first arrest, she paid a $440 bond, and the charges against her were eventually dropped.
