Pawan Kalyan, the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and a famous actor, wants to keep acting while serving in politics. In a recent interview with Thanthi TV, he shared his desire to always help people, but he will continue making films as long as he needs money.
Pawan’s political party, the Janasena Party, won all the seats it ran for in Andhra Pradesh with the help of allies like the Telugu Desam Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party. Despite his political success, Pawan insists he must finish the movie projects he committed to. He said, “I’ve been inspired by great thinkers and people who help others. I haven’t made a lot of money outside of movies, which is my only source of income. Because I promised to do these films, I need to see them through.”
When asked how he would juggle acting and politics without being called a “part-time actor” or “part-time politician,” Pawan responded that many politicians balance their businesses while managing their political duties. He believes that if they can do it, so can he. He said, “As long as I need money, I want to keep acting, but without ignoring my political responsibilities.”
Pawan was last seen in the 2023 film “Bro” with his nephew Sai Durgha Tej. Before he began his campaign for the Andhra Pradesh elections and took on the role of Deputy CM, he had already agreed to several film projects. He still has some movies to finish, including “Hari Hara Veera Mallu,” “They Call Him OG,” and “Ustaad Bhagat Singh.”
