A big argument is happening about the National Anthem in Bihar. Recently, a poster appeared outside Rabri Devi’s house, who was once the chief minister. The poster criticized the current chief minister, Nitish Kumar, saying he doesn’t take his job seriously.
This all started when a video of Nitish Kumar went viral. In the video, he was seen talking and making gestures while the National Anthem was being played at an event in Patna. People from his opposition party, especially the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), were upset by this. Tejashwi Yadav, an RJD leader, shared the video online and said, “At least have some respect for the National Anthem, Mr. Chief Minister. You often disrespect youth, women, and elders. Sometimes it feels like you don’t care about important things like Mahatma Gandhi’s day or the National Anthem!”
Tejashwi also questioned Nitish Kumar’s mental state, suggesting that he might not be fit to continue as chief minister. He wrote, “You are the chief minister of a big state, and it’s worrying to see you act this way.”
Rabri Devi, the former chief minister, also attacked Nitish Kumar. She said he should apologize to both houses of the State Assembly for what he did during the National Anthem. She added that insulting the National Anthem is a serious matter, which could lead to legal action.
This situation arises when elections are approaching in Bihar, making it even more significant.
