NEW DELHI: Many stocks jumped more than 10% on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) as the main Indian stock indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, moved up on Thursday. This happened because investors were buying shares of big, popular companies.
Here are some of the biggest gainers:
– Sirca Paints up by 14.83%
– GTN Textiles up by 13.42%
– Axel Polymers up by 13.13%
– Spenta International up by 13.03%
– Likhitha Infra up by 12.56%
– Paramount Cosmetics up by 11.71%
– Indian Hume Pipe up by 11.36%
– Dutron Polymers up by 10.33%
– PVP Ventures up by 10.19%
The BSE Sensex went up by 361.18 points, reaching 75,810.23. The Nifty index also rose, by 106.25 points, to 23,013.85. In the Nifty 50 index, 34 stocks went up in value, while 16 stocks lost value.
Some stocks hit their highest prices in one year, such as Shantai Industries, Cinerad Communications, Starlog Enterprises, Kratos Energy, and Equilateral Enterprises Ltd. On the other hand, stocks like KEI Industries, Kamanwala Housing Construction, Pooja Entertainment, Adroit Infotech, and ANG Lifesciences reached their lowest prices in one year.
