Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh – Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made it clear on Wednesday that he will not accept any carelessness in work that helps the public. He warned officials that they will face strict punishment if there are any mistakes.

During his visit to the CM Command Centre, located in Lal Bahadur Shastri Bhawan, Adityanath checked how different government departments were doing and how projects were progressing throughout the state. He said, “We cannot allow negligence in public welfare,” emphasizing the need for regular check-ups at all levels. He wants to assign dedicated officers in each district to ensure they report data accurately.

Every month, each department’s performance should be looked at by ministers, and all reports should go to the Chief Minister’s Office. Adityanath highlighted the importance of finishing services related to inheritance and land use on time. To track how well flagship programs are doing, a ranking system has been created. He stressed that it’s not just about numbers but also about quality and transparency.

He directed the MSME department to push the ‘One District One Product’ program further, including adding unique food items from each district. To ensure everyone does their job right, the Chief Minister ordered random checks on how well departments are performing. He also wants the top 10 performing departments to show their progress during review meetings.

Adityanath said any government scheme that is not fully successful is still incomplete and needs to be watched closely. He advised against setting small, formal targets and suggested that goals should be realistic and achievable.

While reviewing the system for handling complaints, he called for improving how satisfied people are with the resolutions. He asked departments, including revenue, police, health, and local government, to ensure they handle complaints responsibly and make use of technology for quick solutions.

When checking on important infrastructure projects, he told officials to complete them on time. He specifically wants regular photo updates of major projects like the Kanpur Metro to track progress. For pending requests, he insisted on detailed checks before they are submitted. He also wants to quickly resolve any pending cases related to the ‘Nivesh Mitra’ investment facilitation portal.
