Vikram is a famous Tamil actor known for trying new things in his films. He worked really hard for the movie “I,” losing 34 kilograms, and faced challenges with his eyesight for another film called “Kasi.” After his successful movies “Ponniyin Selvan 1” and “Ponniyin Selvan 2” and “Thangalaan,” he is back on the big screen with “Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2,” directed by SU Arun Kumar, which will be released on March 27.
In a recent chat with the movie team, Vikram shared, “Veera Dheera Sooran is one of the most rewarding movies of my life. When Arun Kumar told me the story, it was so exciting that my son Dhruv, Manu, and I couldn’t help but clap when he finished. I was really eager to work with him.”
Vikram also praised Arun Kumar’s earlier films, “Sethupathi” and “Chittha.” He said, “I thought ‘Chittha’ was amazing. It tackled a serious topic, child sexual abuse, without showing it directly, and handled it beautifully. The director gave importance to even the minor characters in the film. I knew he could make hits like ‘Sethupathi,’ but his ability to create a sensitive film like ‘Chittha’ shows he is a talented director.”
Regarding “Veera Dheera Sooran,” Vikram mentioned that he loved working on it and encouraged having acting workshops before filming. Director SU Arun Kumar expressed that he felt a strong connection with Vikram while making this movie. “I’ve always been lucky to work with wonderful people like Vikram. I feel blessed,” he said with a smile.
