In Dubai, Indian cricketers are doing really well in the latest ICC T20 rankings! Abhishek Sharma, a fearless batter, is in second place with 829 points, while the amazing spinner Varun Chakaravarthy is also in second place for bowlers with 706 points. Hardik Pandya leads the all-rounders with 252 points, closely followed by Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee and Australia’s Marcus Stoinis.
Australia’s Travis Head is on top for batters with a score of 856, and England’s Phil Salt is third with 815 points. Following Abhishek, Tilak Varma is fourth with 804 points, and India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav is fifth with 739 points.
On the bowling side, Akeal Hosein from West Indies is leading, and Varun Chakaravarthy is just one point behind him. Other notable Indian bowlers include Ravi Bishnoi in sixth place with 674 points and Arshdeep Singh in ninth place with 653 points.
In other news, New Zealand’s players are also climbing the rankings after a solid start in the T20 series against Pakistan. Tim Seifert and Finn Allen have been amazing as openers, and Jacob Duffy has been brilliant with the ball. Seifert has moved up to 13th place after excellent performances, while Allen is now in 18th. Duffy has advanced to his best-ever ranking at 12th!
Other players like Ish Sodhi, Ben Sears, Zakary Foulkes, and Pakistan’s Haris Rauf have also seen improvements in their rankings.
