Bollywood’s popular socialite, Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry, and seven others have gotten into trouble with the Jammu and Kashmir Police. They are accused of drinking alcohol near the Vaishno Devi shrine, a very important place for Hindu pilgrims.
According to news reports, the police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against these eight individuals, including Orry, for drinking in a hotel in Katra, which is a restricted area. The other people involved are Darshan Singh, Parth Raina, Ritick Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal, Shagun Kohli, and a Russian national named Anastasila Arzamaskina.
The police registered this FIR because they believe the group broke local rules against alcohol and non-vegetarian food due to the shrine’s sacred nature. The authorities take this seriously, especially because such activities can offend people’s religious feelings.
Police officials have set up a special team to look into the situation. They plan to send notices to all the accused, including Orry, asking them to cooperate with the investigation. The police said they are committed to handling any violations at religious sites very strictly.
Orry is a well-known figure in the social media world and is close to many Bollywood stars like Janhvi Kapoor and Ananya Panday. His recent actions have caused a stir online, especially among his fans.
