In a sad accident, at least seven people lost their lives, and 14 others were injured when an SUV crashed into a truck in Sidhi district, Madhya Pradesh. The accident happened around 2:30 AM on Monday near a petrol station on the Sidhi-Bahri Road.
The SUV was a taxi carrying a family who was on their way to Maihar. It collided head-on with a truck that was coming from Sidhi and going towards Bahri. According to police officer Gayatri Tiwari, all seven people who died were in the SUV.
Among the injured, nine people have been taken to a hospital in nearby Rewa for treatment, while the other injured are being treated at the district hospital in Sidhi. The truck driver has been taken into custody, and a detailed investigation is underway to find out more about the accident.
