After a lot of chatter and funny memes, Netflix India finally included Urvashi Rautela in the new post for the movie Daaku Maharaaj. She was missing from the original poster, which made fans jokingly ask, “Where is Miss Rolex?” In the latest post, Urvashi was featured not just once, but twice!
The post reads, “Meet the forces behind the fear” along with emojis of eyes and fire. It invites viewers to watch Daaku Maharaaj on Netflix, available from February 21 in many languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Fans were delighted with her inclusion. One commentator on Instagram joked, “The first actress to be on the first slide and only actress to be included TWICE!” Another commenter praised her, saying she finally got the recognition she deserves. Many found it funny that they had to correct their earlier mistake by putting Urvashi front and center.
The movie was initially announced on Sunday but left Urvashi out of the poster, which featured other stars, including Nandamuri Balakrishna and Bobby Deol. Fans quickly reacted, pointing out the absence of the so-called ‘lead actress’ from a movie that cost ₹105 crore to make.
After the film’s release in theatres on January 12, Urvashi actively promoted it despite facing criticism for her dance moves in a song. Though the film has earned about ₹90 crore in India and ₹125.8 crore worldwide, as reported by Niftystat, some fans felt she was unfairly treated.
