Hyderabad: AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi offered his condolences following a tragic accident at New Delhi Railway Station, where a stampede caused the deaths of 18 people and injuries to many others. He expressed his sadness on the platform X and called for a special investigation team, led by a judge, to look into what happened.

Owaisi believes that the stampede was preventable and criticized the Indian government for not handling the situation properly. He pointed out that many passengers were trying to board trains to Prayagraj for the ongoing Maha Kumbh festival, which created a huge crowd on platforms 14 and 15.

He made two important requests:
1. Set up a special investigative team monitored by the judiciary to examine the incident.
2. Conduct an independent review of the Indian Railways to understand its failures.

Owaisi emphasized that the Indian Railways is crucial for millions of people and should not be affected by mismanagement from the government.
