Late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel came to Taylor Swift’s rescue after former President Donald Trump made fun of her at the Super Bowl 2025. Trump, posting on his social media platform Truth Social, joked that Swift was booed and said, “The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving.”

Trump has not been a fan of Taylor since she supported Kamala Harris in September 2024.

In his monologue, Kimmel quickly corrected Trump, saying, “Taylor didn’t get booed out of the stadium; she stayed for the whole game. Unlike you, who left at halftime!” Kimmel continued, saying that it was actually Eagles fans booing her when the jumbotron showed her. “But you’re right, it’s all about you. It’s always all about you,” he joked.

Kimmel also joked that Trump is just “jealous of Taylor Swift because she has more followers, more money, and no kids than he does.”

At the game, Taylor was there to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs. When the cameras focused on her, she did get some boos from the Philadelphia Eagles fans. Meanwhile, when the cameras showed Trump, people had mixed reactions with cheers and boos. Some people think the TV team showed him during Jon Batiste’s national anthem to avoid a lot of booing.

When asked about Trump being at the Super Bowl, Kelce said, “That’s awesome. No matter who the president is … it’s the biggest game of my life. Having the president there is great in this amazing country.”
