The All Indian Cine Workers’ Association has written a letter to union home minister Amit Shah and IT minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. They are asking for a ban and legal action against a YouTube show called “India’s Got Latent,” hosted by Samay Raina. This show became controversial because of comments made by influencer Ranveer Allahbadia.

The association is upset with the show. They say it uses “offensive and inappropriate” language and that the comedians are trying to get more YouTube subscribers and fame by being controversial. They believe the show has crossed the line by making disrespectful remarks about family values, which they feel is not acceptable in society.

Because of this, the association has banned everyone involved with the show from working in the Indian film industry. They say that no film studio, whether in Bollywood or regional films, will hire them again.

The letter urges the government to act quickly against those responsible for the show. The association feels that these creators are disrespecting Indian culture and negatively influencing young people. They want a complete ban on the show and for all involved people to stop making new content.

The association believes that if such content continues, it will hurt India’s reputation in the world and encourage more creators to spread negativity. They are also asking the government to hold YouTube accountable for allowing harmful videos and to create stricter rules against this kind of content.
