In a tragic incident in Malkangiri district, Odisha, the bodies of two 13-year-old girls were found hanging from a tree in a forest. The girls, Jyoti Haldar and Mandira Sodi, had been missing for two days. They were last seen after school on Thursday.
Their families were worried when they did not come home and started searching for them. When they couldn’t find the girls, Mandira’s mother, Mamata Sodi, went to the police station on Friday to report them missing.
Local residents discovered their bodies in the forest. The police from MV 79 and Motu Police Stations, along with Malkangiri SDPO Sachin Patel, quickly arrived at the scene to begin investigating what happened. A case has been opened.
