The Mahakumbh festival at Triveni Sangam is happening right now, attracting people from all over the world. This event is one of the biggest religious gatherings on Earth. So far, around 410 million people have taken part and enjoyed a holy dip in the sacred waters.

On Saturday, Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma both took a holy dip together at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj. They greeted each other joyfully after their dip, surrounded by the beautiful scenery.

Triveni Sangam is where the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers meet. After his dip, CM Yadav told ANI that the Sangam is blessed by Maa Ganga and Maa Yamuna, making it a very special place for pilgrims. He shared that taking a dip there gives great joy and spiritual benefits from many past lives. Yadav prayed for the well-being of the people of Madhya Pradesh, focusing especially on the youth and everyone in society to have good fortune.

In a post on X, he expressed, “Today, my wife and I took a dip in the sacred Triveni Sangam during the Mahakumbh. It was a divine experience. I pray that the flow of Maa Ganga, Maa Yamuna, and Maa Saraswati continues forever and blesses everyone.”

The Mahakumbh, which began on January 13, 2025, during Paush Purnima, is the largest spiritual and cultural gathering in the world. It will continue until Mahashivratri on February 26. Millions have already joined in the event, and it’s expected to break attendance records.
