Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane, famous for her role in the show Aahista Aahista and the Hindi film Sanam Teri Kasam, recently got married to Ameer Gilani in Lahore. Exciting videos of their wedding celebration, where Ameer and other celebrities danced to popular Bollywood songs, are trending on social media.
In one fun clip posted online, Ameer danced to the iconic song Saajanji Ghar Aaye from the movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. He copied Salman Khan’s dance moves, and the guests cheered him on. The video ended with Mawra smiling and giving Ameer a hug. One excited viewer commented, “This is the cutest thing I’ve seen today!”
In another lively moment, Mawra’s sister, Urwa Hocane, and her husband, singer Farhan Saeed, showcased their dance moves to the song Laal Peeli Akhiyaan, featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Urwa also joined in on Maahi Ve, a hit song from Kal Ho Naa Ho.
Mawra, 32, and Ameer, 28, tied the knot in a beautiful traditional ceremony at Lahore Fort surrounded by loved ones. Mawra shared the joyful news on Instagram with lovely wedding pictures. She wrote, “In the middle of the chaos… I found you. Bismillah 5.2.25 #MawraAmeerHoGayi.” In another post, she shared a video from their wedding day, saying, “Qubool Hai #MawraAmeerHoGayi.” Mawra wore a light blue lehenga with pretty floral designs, while Ameer chose a dark green salwar kameez.
The couple first met in 2020 while filming their TV show Sabaat and started dating. They also acted together in the 2023 drama Neem. Mawra is a well-known face in Pakistani TV, with popular shows like Ik Tamanna Lahasil Si and Nikhar Gaye Gulab Sare. She made a splash in Bollywood with her movie Sanam Teri Kasam alongside Harshvardhan Rane, and Ameer is recognized for his roles in shows like Very Filmy and Log Kia Kahengay.
