Phenom, a company that uses artificial intelligence for human resources, has bought another company called EDGE. EDGE is a platform that helps manage resources and find the right talent for jobs. This deal, which took place in Bengaluru, helps Phenom improve its services for professional companies and global capability centers (GCCs).
This is Phenom’s sixth acquisition, showing how much the company is growing in India. The demand for new technology in human resources is increasing, and Phenom wants to hire twice as many people in the next two years. They plan to work in cities like Hyderabad, Vizag, and Bengaluru, with hopes of opening more offices across India.
With the addition of EDGE, Phenom can now offer better planning tools that are already successful in professional services. This will help them understand what different industries need for their workforce and help companies manage their hiring efficiently.
Mahe Bayireddi, the CEO and co-founder of Phenom, stated, “As AI technology advances quickly, companies must enhance their workforces to stay competitive. Automation and smart tools help HR teams provide amazing experiences for everyone, and the EDGE acquisition will help us serve professional services firms and GCCs even better.”
