world stunned as trump proposes gaza takeover

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has openly supported former US President Donald Trump’s idea to move some Palestinians from Gaza to new places. He told reporters, “What’s wrong with letting Gazans leave? This plan should be tried.”

In his interview with Fox News, Netanyahu added, “Letting Gazans who want to leave, leave. They can come back or even move somewhere else, but we need to rebuild Gaza.”

Trump first talked about this plan at a White House press conference. He suggested that the US should take charge of Gaza and fix it up by removing dangerous bombs and building new homes and jobs. He said, “Owning this land could help bring peace to the Middle East.”

Netanyahu also mentioned the importance of getting all hostages back from Hamas. He said that Israel has three goals: freeing the hostages, defeating Hamas, and ensuring Gaza won’t be a threat to Israel again. “We will not stop until we achieve all three,” he insisted.

Netanyahu praised Trump for being the best friend Israel has had in the White House. He highlighted Trump’s past actions, like pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal and moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, as good decisions for Israel.

He called Trump’s proposal a fresh and exciting idea that could change history, but he didn’t share too many details. “It’s worth paying attention to,” Netanyahu said.

As Israel continues its fight against Hamas militants, the discussion about Gaza’s future is heating up. While Trump and Netanyahu think resettlement is a good idea, many world leaders criticize it, saying it could make problems worse.
