A Japanese man named Toco, famous for spending $14,000 to look like a dog, has opened a zoo where other people can also become animals! Toco’s zoo, called TokoTokoZoo, is a fun place where people can wear special dog costumes and pretend to be dogs just like him.

Toco wants to make everyone’s dreams come true, so he started this zoo. On the zoo’s website, it says, “Have you ever wanted to be an animal? We can help you feel like one by wearing a costume.” Right now, the only costume available is for an Alaskan Malamute, a big dog that looks a bit like a Husky.

To visit the zoo and wear the costume, you have to book your time at least 30 days in advance. The experience costs 49,000 Yen (about $319) for 3 hours and 36,000 Yen (around $234) for 2 hours. If you want to bring a friend, it costs an extra 30,000 Yen ($194), but if three people come together, it’s only 20,000 Yen ($129).

When you visit, you’ll get to learn about the costume and have a fitting before it’s time to act like a dog! There’s even a special trial for people who fit certain size requirements, where two visits cost just 25,000 Yen ($162).

While the zoo is only in Tokyo, it can also accommodate people speaking different languages, including English. Toco plans to add more costumes, including one for pandas, but says they won’t have cat or fox costumes because they are too small for people to wear.
