In Surat, a couple named Rahul Mahto and Anjali Kumari were supposed to get married at a place called Lakshmi Hall. However, during the wedding, the groom’s family got upset because there wasn’t enough food for their guests. Most of the wedding rituals were almost done when the groom’s family decided they didn’t want to continue the wedding anymore.
Feeling sad and confused, Anjali’s family went to the police for help. They explained that Rahul still wanted to marry Anjali, even though his family was against it. The police brought both families to the police station to solve the issue. After some discussion, the groom’s family agreed to continue with the wedding, but Anjali’s family was worried another fight might happen if they went back to the venue.
To keep the peace and help the couple, the police allowed them to finish their marriage rituals right there in the police station. DCP Alok Kumar said the police wanted to help because they cared about Anjali’s future. In the end, the couple got married at the police station, thanks to the police’s intervention.
