Assam’s Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, recently announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the special guest at the “Advantage Assam 2.0” event on February 25. He will also enjoy a huge Jhumur dance show at Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati.
Sarma met with Prime Minister Modi in New Delhi and thanked him for approving a new urea plant in Namrup. Sarma called this decision a “big boost” for Assam’s growth. During their talk, they discussed the upcoming Advantage Assam Summit and the Jhumur dance performance.
On social media, Sarma expressed his excitement about meeting Prime Minister Modi and highlighted the importance of the new urea plant for Assam’s development. He also had a great discussion with Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, who accepted the invitation to lead a session on “I-Ways in Viksit Assam” at the same event.
Sarma congratulated Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for presenting an impressive budget that focuses on helping the middle class and small businesses. He thanked her for the new urea facility in Assam and mentioned the Advantage Assam Summit. She agreed to be part of the final session of the summit.
In addition, Sarma spoke with Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, who will lead a session on Hydrocarbons and Energy at the Advantage Assam Summit. They discussed how Assam can better use its oil resources.
Finally, Sarma met with Union Minister Piyush Goyal, who will discuss how boosting exports can help Assam grow and support India’s vision for development. Sarma is looking forward to hearing Goyal’s valuable ideas during the summit.
