Pushpa 2: The Rule has broken many records since it came out on December 5, 2024. However, its earnings are slowing down. On Monday, it made just over ₹60 lakh, which is its lowest daily collection yet.

In its first week, the film earned ₹725.8 crore. In the second week, it made ₹264.8 crore, followed by ₹129.5 crore in the third week. By the end of the fourth week, it earned ₹69.65 crore. The numbers continued to drop with ₹25.25 crore in week five, and ₹9.7 crore in week six.

Now, after 47 days, the total earnings in India have reached ₹1228.90 crore across all languages. Recent daily earnings include ₹95 lakh on day 44, ₹1.1 crore on day 45, and ₹1.5 crore on day 46. On day 47, it is estimated to have collected ₹65 lakh.

The film stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil and is directed by Sukumar. Additionally, “Pushpa 2” has become the second highest-grossing Indian movie ever, surpassing “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.”

However, not everything has been smooth. A sad event occurred just before the film’s release on December 4, 2024. During a promotional event at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, a huge crowd gathered, leading to a tragic incident that resulted in the death of a woman named Revathi and left her child, Sri Teja, in serious condition.

Allu Arjun was briefly arrested but later released on bail. In January, he visited Sri Teja in the hospital and offered financial help to Revathi’s family. His father, film producer Allu Aravind, also donated ₹2 crore to support them.
