Celebrating 20 Years of ‘Page 3’: Konkona Sensharma Reflects

New Delhi – Konkona Sensharma, the talented actor, recently shared that she can hardly believe that her first Hindi movie, “Page 3,” was released 20 years ago! In this film, directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, Konkona played Madhavi Sharma, a journalist who moves to Mumbai in search of a job. The movie became both a hit and a favorite among many.

In “Page 3,” Madhavi goes to fancy parties and learns about the hidden struggles celebrities face. Konkona posted many pictures from the film’s shoot, reminiscing about that time. “I can’t believe ‘PAGE 3’ came out 20 years ago! I was so young and free back then. I’m so thankful for that experience,” she wrote.

She thanked director Madhur Bhandarkar and her co-stars, Sandhya Mridul and Tara Sharma, for their support. Madhur also expressed his feelings on social media, saying he feels nostalgic about the movie that connected with audiences from all kinds of backgrounds. He said, “We didn’t have a huge budget or famous stars, but we had a passion for good stories.”

The movie was produced by Bobby Pushkarna and Kavita Pushkarna, and featured other actors like Kunika, Atul Kulkarni, Boman Irani, and Bikram Saluja. Konkona mentioned how great films like “Page 3” can stay in people’s hearts forever, no matter how big or small the actors may be.
