Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently held a meeting in Gorakhpur to push for faster development of important projects. He told officials to increase their teams and keep track of their work closely. CM Yogi reviewed projects from different departments like the Gorakhpur Development Authority, Municipal Corporation, and others that help improve the city.
He asked the officials to complete these projects on time and make sure they are done well. To help with this, each project will have a special officer who will monitor progress and give updates every week to the Gorakhpur District Magistrate. Additionally, the District Magistrate or a senior officer will check on all projects every two weeks.
CM Yogi highlighted the importance of listening to the public and wanted officials to hold regular meetings with local leaders. He stressed that it’s crucial for officials to handle complaints from citizens quickly and carefully. He urged them to take care of issues reported through the IGRS and CM Helpline and to gather feedback from people to improve their services.
The Chief Minister also asked officials to connect with local entrepreneurs and help them with their challenges. He emphasized the need for better online systems to help business owners and to make sure they benefit from government projects. CM Yogi encouraged collaboration with banks to raise the district’s credit-deposit ratio from 58% to 75%.
He reminded everyone of the government’s strict rules against crime, particularly against those who illegally trade cows, and insisted that quick action be taken against these criminals. Finally, he instructed officials to manage traffic better in Gorakhpur by ensuring that vehicles are parked in approved spots.
