Meanwhile, in North India, dense fog covered Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) on Sunday, causing many train delays and making travel difficult for people. The temperature in the city was 10°C, and visibility was very low. Railway workers are trying to keep passengers safe, but there were still delays throughout the morning. The Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi dropped to 335, which is considered ‘very poor.’ This is a significant drop from Saturday’s reading of 248.

Although the air quality has been changing, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) recently lifted some restrictions due to better AQI levels. The cold weather has made many homeless people look for shelters at night, and authorities are making sure enough help is available for them.
