NEW DELHI: The sign-up for Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2025 has ended, and this year, over 3.5 crore people from India and around the world registered! This special event is when Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks with students, teachers, and parents before board exams. Registrations were open for one month on the MyGov.in website, from December 14, 2024, to January 14, 2025.
The education ministry said, “The 8th edition of PPC 2025 has set an amazing record with the highest number of sign-ups ever. This shows how much people love the program, making it a real ‘people’s movement’.”
PPC 2025 will be held in a town hall style at the Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. The exact date for the event is still to be announced. During PPC, PM Modi will answer questions from participants about handling exam stress, thinking about careers, future goals, and life in general.
Before the event, starting January 12 (National Youth Day) and going until January 23 (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti), there will be fun activities like playing traditional Indian games, meme contests, and street plays.
Last year, the event received 2.26 crore registrations and took place on January 29 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The first PPC event was held in February 2018.
