Awadh Ojha, who is running for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Patparganj area for the upcoming Delhi assembly election, has been allowed to move his voter registration from Greater Noida to Delhi. This approval came from the Election Commission of India (ECI), and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal shared the news on Monday. Now, Awadh Ojha can officially sign up to compete in the election on February 5.

Earlier, Kejriwal had claimed there were problems with how the voting process was being handled. He said that Ojha tried to transfer his voter registration on January 7, which is the last day to do so, but accused officials of moving the deadline to January 6 unfairly. Kejriwal argued that this change was made to stop Ojha from running for office.

In response, Virendra Sachdeva, who is in charge of the Delhi BJP, questioned why AAP waited so long to start the transfer process when Ojha joined the party on December 2. He pointed out that Kejriwal seems to make accusations about voting issues whenever elections are near.

Ojha joined AAP last month at a meeting with Kejriwal and other leaders. As the election date approaches, the fight between AAP and BJP is heating up, with both sides making claims against each other. Voting will take place on February 5, and results will be revealed on February 8.
