In Ahmedabad, a sad incident occurred when an 8-year-old girl sadly collapsed and died inside her school on Friday morning. According to the school, the girl, a Class 3 student, came to school as usual. After walking up the stairs to the first floor, she started feeling unwell and decided to sit down on a chair. Just moments later, she fainted.
The teachers quickly jumped into action, giving her CPR (a method to help someone who isn’t breathing) and hurriedly took her to the nearest hospital. Even though they tried their best, doctors reported that she had a cardiac arrest and sadly passed away soon after arriving at the hospital.
The entire incident was recorded on a security camera. In the video, the girl can be seen pausing in the hallway before walking to the chair and collapsing shortly after.
The school principal, Sharmishtha Sinha, mentioned that the teachers acted quickly and called an ambulance. However, due to the girl’s worsening condition, they decided to take her to a nearby hospital in their own car.
Doctors tried to revive her and put her on a ventilator, but unfortunately, it was too late. Neeraj Badgujar, a police officer in Ahmedabad, confirmed that the police learned about the girl’s passing from the hospital, and an investigation is currently underway.
The school has offered help and support to the girl’s family and classmates during this tough time.
