The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finished holding the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for December 2024 on December 14 and 15. After the exam, they released a provisional answer key on December 5, which helps students check their answers.
Raising Objections on the Answer Key
If students think there is a mistake in the answer key, they can raise objections! The objection window opens on January 1 and closes on January 5, 2025. To challenge an answer, students need to pay ₹1,000 for each question. Remember, this fee is non-refundable!
Payment can be made using a credit or debit card. CBSE says that after reviewing the challenges with experts, if any objection is accepted, the fee will be returned. The refund will go back to the card used to make the payment, so be sure to use your card!
Final Answer Key and Results
The final CTET results will be based on the final answer key, which will be updated after reviewing valid objections. CBSE assures students that their decisions will be final, and there won’t be any further discussions about it.
How to Check Your CTET Result
As soon as the CTET results are out, students can check them on the official CTET website, ctet.nic.in. To find your result, click on the result link on the homepage, enter your login details, and submit the form. Good luck!
