Tirupati Temple Stampede Update:
Bhanu Prakash Reddy, a member of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), announced that 30 people hurt in the recent stampede at the Tirupati temple are now safe after being treated at SVIMS Tirupati. He spoke with the medical team to confirm their recovery. Both the Chief Minister and the Health Minister are on their way to Tirupati to check on the situation.

Reddy promised that if any officials are found responsible for the incident, they will be punished. He apologized on behalf of TTD, saying, “I’m very sorry for what happened. We will make sure nothing like this happens again.” He also assured that safety measures will be improved to prevent future incidents.

The head of the Bharatiya Chaitanya Yuvajana Party (BCYP), Bode Ramachandra Yadav, helped the families of those who died by giving them Rs 50,000 and gave Rs 5,000 to those hurt. He called the incident very sad and blamed it on the government’s and TTD’s negligence. He demanded that the TTD board resign and suggested they focus more on the needs of temple visitors rather than politics.

Yadav criticized Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, saying he should create a new TTD board that prioritizes the temple and the devotees’ well-being. He believes big changes are necessary to win back people’s trust in the temple management.
