Before announcing the dates for the Delhi assembly elections, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar spoke to the media on Tuesday. He addressed worries about the election process and answered recent claims about problems with Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and the lists of registered voters.
Kumar clearly said that these claims are not true. He emphasized that it is impossible to tamper with EVMs or change the Electoral Rolls. This means that the election process is safe and fair, and people can trust it.
