On Tuesday, popular Telugu actor Allu Arjun visited a boy who is being treated in a private hospital after getting hurt in a stampede at the premiere of his new movie, Pushpa 2. The actor had planned to visit on January 5, but that plan was canceled.
Allu Arjun is now listed as one of the accused in a case following a tragic event where a woman lost her life and her eight-year-old son was injured in the stampede on December 4. When Arjun visited the hospital, he was accompanied by Dil Raju, the chairman of the Telangana State Film Development Corporation.
Security was stepped up at the hospital because of the visit. The police officer in charge of the Ramgopalpet Police Station had previously reminded Allu Arjun to keep his hospital visit secret to ensure safety and peace around the area. The police promised to arrange everything for his visit.
Allu Arjun expressed that he was very worried about the injured boy, who is still receiving medical care after the incident. He hoped for the boy’s quick recovery and wanted to meet the boy and his family but was told to wait due to ongoing legal matters.
The stampede happened at the Sandhya theater in Hyderabad on December 4 when many fans gathered to see Arjun during the movie premiere. After the sad event, a case was filed against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theater management at the Chikkadpally police station. The complaint was made by the family of the woman who died.
Arjun was arrested on December 13 related to the case, but a court in Telangana granted him temporary bail on December 14 and regular bail on January 3
