In Philadelphia, Jason Kelce, a retired Eagles star, kicked off his new late-night show called “They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce” on ESPN. To celebrate, he wore his Mummer’s costume from the Super Bowl parade and drove around in a cool Eagles golf cart.

Kelce had a lot of fun starting his new job. He brought his family and friends, including unexpected guests like sports legend Charles Barkley and rapper Lil Dicky. Before the show, he got advice from Jimmy Kimmel, a famous late-night host. Kelce joked around, answered fans’ questions, and even said yes when someone invited him to a wedding — but he humorously declined, saying, “I don’t go into New Jersey.”

The show aired at 1 a.m. EST, and it was filled with lively moments. There was a band called Snacktime providing music, and Kelce’s wife, Kylie, was his funny sidekick. They did not shy away from using strong language, which Kelce said was true to who he is. Although the show was lively and entertaining, they aimed for it to resonate with fans all over the country, not just in Philly.

The show’s title honors “They Call It Pro Football,” which was an old film from NFL Films, showing its Philly roots. After a fun night involving jokes and skits, Kelce said, “It’s game day.” He felt good about their first show but knew there were things to improve for next time.

If you’re a fan of sports and late-night entertainment, you should definitely tune in to Jason Kelce’s new show!
