Tom Holland and Zendaya make a cute couple, but Tom prefers to keep things low-key on the red carpet. In an interview with Men’s Health, he shared why he doesn’t join Zendaya at her movie premieres unless they’re both in the film. He believes it’s her special moment, and if they attend together, people focus on them as a couple instead of her work.
Tom has starred in three Spider-Man movies with Zendaya: Homecoming (2017), Far From Home (2019), and No Way Home (2021). They started dating while filming these movies and will be working together again in a fourth Spider-Man film and in a new movie called The Odyssey, directed by Christopher Nolan.
Tom also talked about his plans for the future. He said once he becomes a dad, he wants to step back from acting to focus on family and golf. “When I have kids, you won’t see me in movies anymore. It’s all about being a dad and playing golf,” he joked.
Recently, Tom mentioned how great it is to work with Zendaya. He joked about how studios like their setup: one hotel room and separate cars. He appreciates the comfort of knowing they can lean on each other when things get tough on set. “When a director gives us a note we don’t like, we just share a glance and know we’ll talk about it later,” he said
