On Wednesday, the US government announced that it is imposing sanctions on four groups that help Pakistan with its ballistic missile program. The US has designated these four groups under an Executive Order that targets those involved in developing weapons of mass destruction and associated delivery methods. The groups include:

– Pakistan’s National Development Complex (NDC): This organization is in charge of Pakistan’s ballistic missile program and has tried to get materials to enhance long-range missile development, including special vehicles for launching missiles and testing equipment.

– Akhtar and Sons Private Limited: Based in Karachi, this group supplies equipment to support Pakistan’s long-range missile program.

– Affiliates International: Also located in Karachi, this entity helps with purchasing missile-related items for the NDC and other organizations.

– Rockside Enterprise: This group provides various equipment to aid Pakistan’s long-range missile program.

The US has stated that these entities pose a risk to global security and will continue to take action against activities that support the spread of dangerous weapons.
