After a long wait, OnePlus has officially announced the launch date of its new flagship phone, the OnePlus 13, in India! The company has been building excitement for weeks by showing off its cool new design, which includes a back made from vegan leather. Along with the OnePlus 13, they are also set to release the OnePlus 13R, a mid-range version, at the start of January 2025.
The OnePlus 13 has already been launched in China, so we know a lot about its features, but it’s possible there will be small differences for the global version. Here’s what you can expect from the OnePlus 13 before its January launch.
OnePlus 13 Features and Specs
The OnePlus 13 comes with a big 6.82-inch BOE X2 Quad-HD+ LTPO AMOLED display. This screen is an upgrade compared to the OnePlus 12, featuring a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, a sharp 2K resolution, and an impressive peak brightness of up to 4500 nits. It will be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is also in other popular phones like the Realme GT 7 Pro, iQOO 13, and the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra.
In China, the OnePlus 13 has 24GB of RAM, but in India, it might come with 16GB, just like last year’s model. The camera setup is fantastic too! It has three 50MP cameras: one for regular photos, one for wide shots, and another for zooming in. Plus, there’s a 32MP camera for selfies! The phone has a big 6000mAh battery, which supports very fast charging — 100W wired and 50W wireless. You’ll be using OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15, which means you’ll get all the latest features.
Pricing and Availability in India
OnePlus has announced three colors for the OnePlus 13: Arctic Dawn, Black Eclipse, and Midnight Ocean. According to reports, the starting price for the OnePlus 13 in India will be under ₹70,000. You’ll be able to buy it on Amazon, as they’ve already set up a special page for it. Now, we just have to wait for the Indian launch to see if there will be any changes in the global version!
