Italian stationery company FILA just sold a small part of its shares in its Indian branch, DOMS, and raised about 90.9 million euros (or $94.6 million). They sold about 2.7 million shares at a price of 2,879.29 Indian rupees (which is around $33.84) each. This price is higher than what the shares were worth based on their book value, which was about 790 Indian rupees (around 8.64 euros) at the end of 2023.
FILA plans to use this extra money to strengthen its finances and reach its business goals. After this sale, FILA now owns 26.01% of DOMS. This step shows how FILA is working to adapt and grow in the competitive market.
